It all started when…
Amy discovered yoga whilst living in Geneva. She swapped pounding the pavement for the flowing in the studio. Amy is a 465-hour qualified yoga teacher and is qualified to teach a range of styles including: hatha, vinyasa, pregnancy, mandala, yin and nidra.
Amy believes in the importance of yoga for physical and mental wellbeing. She teaches her students about the benefits of a dedicated yoga practice both inside and outside the studio.
Her style is playful, energetic and compassionate and you will find poetry and music weaved through her classes. Amy runs yoga and creative writing workshops and teaches yoga nidra storytelling on teacher training courses.

“I am fairly new to yoga and only attended a few sessions with other instructors over the years, though I have been taking Amy’s sessions on a Monday since they started and absolutely love it. All the sessions have taken place over Zoom during the lockdown, though I have found them to still be challenging but fun, as well as being easy to follow along with, despite being virtual. As a newbie, I was worried that the different positions would be hard to get into without face to face instruction, but Amy explains the positions well and gives good feedback on how you can improve. I have found the specific flows that Amy teaches really push me and I always come away feeling revitalised. The best thing about the sessions though is the fact that Amy has such a positive and happy personality and is always welcoming.
