Writing

Amy is a creator of stories. Her work spans diverse forms: poetry, prose, spoken word and graphic poems. She has been influenced by literature, music and pop culture. Amongst her literary idols are J G Ballard, Art Spiegelman and John Keats. She has also drawn inspiration from her uncle Gus Dudgeon who helped shape British music in the 70s and 80s through his work as a record producer.

Her first collection of work, Humans + Humans = Humans, is published here. The collection explores who we are as humans through poignant stories, visceral images, snatched moments, misremembered dreams and sharp feelings.

Amy is editing her second collection of poetry to be published this year: Beginnings & Endings, which explores the inception and conclusion of relationships through excitement, pain, loss and humour. Amy's written work has been published in Nurture Magazine, a publication showcasing emerging artists.

Amy performs spoken word at events throughout the UK, including: The Moth, That’s What She Said, Rhymes with Orange, New Word Order,  Mind over Matter, Word of Mouth ,Cheltenham Literary Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Pre-pandemic, Amy MC'd for Sofar Sounds in her hometown of London. You can watch her performances here.

Yoga

Amy discovered yoga whilst living in Geneva. She swapped pounding the pavement for the flowing in the studio. Amy is a 325-hour qualified yoga teacher and is qualified to teach a range of styles including: hatha, vinyasa, pregnancy, yin and nidra. 

Amy believes in the importance of yoga for physical and mental wellbeing. She teaches her students about the benefits of a dedicated yoga practice both inside and outside the studio. 

Her style is playful, energetic and compassionate and you will find poetry and music weaved through her classes. Amy runs yoga and creative writing workshops and teaches yoga nidra storytelling on yoga teacher training courses.

 Massage

 Amy is qualified is a qualified massage therapist. She practices Raynor Massage, which is an effective deep tissue massage technique that treats clients by finding and removing tension held by the body. Raynor Massage is a holistic approach to massage which looks at tension held in the entire body to stimulate relaxation and well-being.

SEED  

SEED is co-founded by Amy Dudgeon and Chloe Jourdain. 

It was formed from the seed of an idea to create spaces to explore the mind and body through food, writing, yoga and human connection. SEED welcomes all bodies, minds and abilities, no prior experience required.
